Mentor

The Mentor has been a critical part of our ministry for as long as the ministry has been in existence. The main role of a mentor in our ministry is to invest themselves into the lives of Students, intentionally spending time with them in order to share Jesus with them and encourage them to mature spiritually  (discipleship). However this is not the only role of our mentor. A mentor is also there to be a sounding board and a source of accountability to the Student Minister.

Mentors have a different role than a normal parent within the ministry. Mentors are members of the church that commit themselves to a year of service in the ministry. When the commit themselves they agree to the list of expectations given to them.They understand that their main responsibility is to invest into students lives while their secondary responsibility is to be a sounding board and help hold the Student Minister accountable to the ministry he has been given.
