Every summer during the month of June or July, we give everyone in our entire Student Ministry the opportunity to be part of a Summer Missions Camp. We go somewhere in the US and partner with other Great Commission Christians to help ‘finish the task’ in that particular region (Matthew 28:18-20). In the past, this has involved partnering with entities such as the Kentucky Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board, as well as individual churches working on localized projects. We are intentional about involving our students in a ‘missions’ camp because it not only provides a great summer camp experience, but more importantly challenges them to live our their faith in practical ways!
